Established in 2007, we serve children from 6 weeks to 12 years old in Vinton, Louisiana.
We teach children how to interact socially, regulate their emotions, and contribute to their community.
Lion’s Den Day School uses a curriculum that has been approved by the Louisiana Department of Education and assessment tools that allow us to closely monitor your child’s progress. All of our teachers have a CDA (child development associates) and an Early ChildhoodAncillary Certificate.
We wouldn’t be anywhere without our teachers and we value their years of experience and dedication.
In 19 years, three states, and seven different centers, I have finally found a center that I absolutely love. The director, staff, and children have become like family. I’ve been working here for three years and I can’t imagine working anywhere else. The dedicated teachers have been here for years, so the staff know each other very well, which allows us to better serve the children in our care. When I run out of ideas, my coworkers and director are always there to help. 5 stars for sure!
I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my kids. We drive from Sulphur to Vinton every day to attend Lion’s Den. When my daughter started she was very shy and wasn’t talking much; now she is in the middle playing with other kids and almost speaking full sentences. I constantly get videos from the center and I’m so thankful for the great care my children get.
I absolutely love Lion’s Den Day school! My daughter attended from age 1 to age 8, and now my granddaughters attend and they both love it also. Anita and her staff are amazing and great with the kids! I have been so lucky to have been able to get all my babies to such a great day school.
I have a 3-year-old who has attended Lion's Den since he was 7 months old and am currently pregnant with my second. I have every intention of sending my next child there as well! We chose this school because they offered an age-appropriate curriculum that ensured that my child would have stimulation throughout the day, and because of their dedication to working with me to overcome every obstacle. When I was breastfeeding they were very clear on their expectations, which allowed me to reach my goal of exclusively breastfeeding my child for a year. I've never been in the dark about my child's safety or progress. They promptly give updates about weather, incidents of any kind, and behavioral issues. Even through Covid they were extremely transparent and stuck to their policies, which made it easy to navigate and stay safe through that uncertain time.
